The work captures a surfer poised on a perfectly smooth wave, balanced with an effortless calm. There’s no drama or crash of water, only a sense of pure style and presence, ten toes to the nose. The copper figure rides lightly, while the stone beneath curves upward echoing the ocean.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year.
