A lone surfer drops into a large, steep golden wave—frozen in a moment of pure commitment. The curve of the wave rises high behind them, glowing with warm tones that hint at late afternoon light. This sculpture captures the thrill, isolation, and the courage it takes to chase something bigger than yourself.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year.
