A lone surfer rides a large, smooth, steep wave—standing tall with quiet confidence. The wave rises in a graceful, powerful sweep, but the surfer remains composed, moving with a smooth, calm style that feels effortless. This sculpture captures the balance between strength and stillness, and the steady focus it takes to stay grounded in the face of something massive.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year.
