This sculpture captures a single figure standing firm as a wave of others rushes forward. It speaks to the courage it takes to stand your ground when it would be easier to follow the crowd. To do what’s right when it’s uncomfortable. To resist when others charge ahead without question. The piece is a reminder that strength isn’t always loud or forceful. Sometimes it’s found in stillness, integrity, and the refusal to move when your heart knows better.
The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays K Perrault and the year.
