This small sculpture features two copper figures, one making a heart with their hands, the other flipping the middle finger. They stand side by side, opposite but connected. It’s a simple, honest reminder that we all carry a mix of emotions, and sometimes love and frustration show up at the same time. You don’t always have to pick one. Sometimes, you just have to feel all the feelings. A fixed magnifying glass is mounted to the stand, inviting viewers to lean in and take a closer look, emphasizing the idea that these small moments are worth seeing up close.
The sculpture is anchored by a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand, which features a small copper nameplate stamped with K Perrault and the year.
