Space Cowboy 001

9″ x 4.5″ x 4.5″
copper, stone, & wood

The space cowboy has been a staple of pop culture for decades. Steve Miller Band, Cowboy Bebop, to Cowboys and Aliens. I don’t know why it works, but it does. Two of my favorite themes mashed together to make something funky and fun. Maybe it’s that human instinct to want to explore, or maybe the romantic nature of going somewhere with no rules.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays K Perrault and the year.
