Memento mori is Latin for “remember that you will die,” used not as a morbid fixation but as a prompt to live with intention.

Two copper figures face each other inches apart, one alive in posture and attention, the other death. This is memento mori made literal: not a symbol, not a warning painted on a wall, but a meeting. The man looks his own ending in the eye and neither of them looks away. Whatever he does with the rest of his time begins right here!

The sculpture mounts directly to the wall with a custom copper standoff, and the back of the sculpture has the artist’s initials (KP) and the year.
