Thirteen figures tumble through space while one remains suspended at the center, arms stretched wide, immovable. There’s something that feels ancient in this composition. Whether it’s a moment of faith, or simply the determination to stay upright when everything around you is falling apart. It’s a sculpture about holding your ground, or maybe about being the ground others hold onto.
The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays K Perrault and the year.
