This sculpture features a diver swimming over a crystal sea. Her body is relaxed, exploring an underwater world in silence. The piece captures a feeling of weightlessness, calm, and the quiet curiosity for those of us that feel at home in the water.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays K perrault and the year.

Fun Fact: this piece of calcite was the official specimen in the California Academy of Sciences in Golden Gate Park. It was given to me y a geologist with the hope it could make its way into a sculpture.
