The camera is raised and the figure poised in the familiar act of observation. In this moment, the roles begin to shift. While the figure appears to document something beyond the frame, it is the act itself that becomes the subject. The sculpture reflects on perception and presence, suggesting that every image is also a subtle self portrait.
The sculpture is anchored by a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand, which features a small copper nameplate stamped with K Perrault and the year.
