This sculpture captures a single figure rising to their feet, holding a sign high in protest while the others remain seated around them. The moment is quiet but charged, the kind of tension that comes from choosing to stand when everyone else stays still. It speaks to the difficulty of being the one who tries to make change, the one who breaks the calm.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays K Perrault and the year.
