The work captures a surfer poised on a perfectly smooth wave, balanced with an effortless calm. There’s no drama or crash of water, only a sense of pure style and presence, as though time itself has slowed around them. The copper figure rides lightly, while the stone beneath curves upward, echoing the ocean.

The sculpture sits on a hand-finished, oil-rubbed walnut base with a custom copper stand. A small copper nameplate on the stand displays the initials GG and the year.
