Your sculpture is meant to last for generations, but a little care will help it age gracefully.
Copper
The figures, nameplate, and post are patinaed and will continue to evolve in color over time. This natural shift is part of the work’s character, a slow and beautiful evolution.
Fragility
The copper figures are extremely delicate. Please do not touch, adjust, or handle them. They are happiest when left to simply be.
Dust
A very light feather duster is all you’ll ever need. Gentle is key.
Walnut Base
The base has been finished with boiled linseed oil. If it begins to look dull, a small reapplication will restore its rich luster.
Stone
The stone requires almost nothing. After all, it has already survived a few million years. Consider it your lowest-maintenance family member.
